This shows some of the work undertaken to transform our accommodation into first class dedicated premises

  • Couper and Milward families formed a partnership in 1993
  • Partnership bought St John's Cottage to set up Small World
  • Buildings were dilapidated and the grounds were a mess

Stripping out the main classroom
  • The buildings were stripped back to shells then redesigned and rebuilt for nursery use
  • The picture shows part of the barn in 1993
Bungalow site
  • In 2003 the "bottom plot" was cleared and the bungalow built
  • Designed for either residence or nursery use, it became the Baby Room early in 2004
  • The picture to the left shows the bungalow site in 2003
